Trish Regan (born April 1st in 1961) is an American author, TV journalist and TV anchor. Her most well-known work is hosting the shows Trish Regan Primetime as well as The Intelligence Report with Trish Regan on Fox News Channel. During her school and college time, Regan did not have any plans to become the next journalist or anchor on TV. Music was her passion and she aspired to become an opera performer. Her training in music was at several reputed institutes. The first gig she had was an investment firm. She was later hired by CBS MarketWatch. Then she became a CBS Evening News business correspondent. Regan was later employed with CNBC as a host for a business daily show. She also produced documentary films. During her stint with CNBC Regan was awarded the Emmy Award's Best Documentary. Regan worked with Bloomberg Television for a brief time. Regan has been an actor in Fox News Channel's popular shows, currently works there. She's also a correspondent for business for the channel. Regan has been awarded numerous prizes and distinctions for her honest reportage. Also, she was criticized harshly for controversial remarks she made on various politics matters.
